Thomas Couch
THOMAS COUCH
Thomas W. Couch, 60, of 3605 S. Bard Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, Oct. 28, in the Saginaw Veteran's Hospital after a long illness. Born in Normandy, Tenn., Sept. 18, 1925, he moved to Gladwin County 10 years ago from Detroit. He worked in maintenance for Mac-O-Lac Paint Co. in Detroit. Mr. Couch served in the Army during World War II. He and the former Pauline Richardson were married July 2, 1944, in Texas.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Chris of Mt. Clemens and Gabe of Beaverton; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Lia of Sterling Heights; and 6 grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Beaverton. Pastor B. G. Mathews officiated and burial was in the Tobacco Township Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home. .
