Claude R. Cornwell
Claude R. Cornwell, 73, passed away on June 12, 2006 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He lived in West Branch since 1990, and was formerly of Westland. He and his wife Charlotte were married 49 years ago on Sept. 20, 1956. Claude was a member of the Eagles of Secord Lake, V.F.W. and enjoyed bowling, playing cars, fishing and traveling.
Surviving are his wife Charlotte; his sons David (Sandy) Cornwell of Canton, and Thomas (Dorris) Cornwell of Durand; his daughter, Deborah (Tim) Kelley of Livonia; an his grandchildren, Suzanne, David, Danny, Nate, Amy, Travis, Tristen, Matt, Jennifer and Jacob.
A funeral service was held June 16 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Branch with Rev. Andrew Gruenhagen officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. John’s Lutheran Church.
