Herbert Cornell
HERBERT CORNELL DIES SUDDENLY
Herbert B. Cornell, 53, of Beaverton and owner of the Silverhook Trout Pond and Hatchery on South M-18, died suddenly Sunday morning of a heart attack. Born in Beaverton on Oct. 26, 1916, he had spent his life here. He was a veteran of the Air Force in World War II and was past commander of the Beaverton V.F.W. Post 7303. Mr. Cornell was married to the former Dorothy Willford in 1962 in Coleman.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Belva Cornell, of Arizona; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Garvie, of Beaverton, Mrs. Nettie Sedor, of California and Mrs. Marguerite Wirt, of Arizona, and one brother, Harold, of Beaverton.
Services were held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Palmer officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. .
