Harold Cornell
HAROLD CORNELL
Harold Y. (Buster) Cornell, 53, of 2699 West Dale Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, April 6, in the Midland Hospital Center after a long illness. Born in Detroit on March 22, 1928, he had spent most of his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Cornell was employed in construction and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was married to the former Sharon Capen on June 23, 1956, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Michael of Beaverton and Archie at home; 6 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Alice) Schertz, Christina Travis and Mrs. Douglas (Virginia) Arnold of Beaverton, Mrs. Stephen (Zayle) Peterson of Spring, Texas, Tammy and Karen, at home; 3 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Garvie of Beaverton, Mrs. Nettie Sedor of Highland, Calif. and Mrs. Marguerite Wirt of Apache Junction, Ariz.; and 8 grandchildren.
Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Beaverton Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Henry List officiated and cremation followed. Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home..
