Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Belva Cornell

   Mrs. Belva Cornell, 89, of Beaverton, died Saturday, Nov. 29, in the Ardis Nursing Home, Farwell, following a long illness. Born in McClure, Ohio, on March 24, 1891, she came to Gladwin County in 1912. The former Belva Yost, she was married to Archie Cornell on February 20, 1910, in Ohio. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1954.

   Surviving are one son, Harold (Buster) of Beaverton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Garvie of Beaverton, Mrs. Andrew (Nettie) Sedor of Highland, Calif., and Mrs. Leo (Marguerete) Wirt of Apache Junction, Ariz.; 26 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Two sons also preceded her in death, Harvey, in 1935 and Herbert in 1970.

   Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Mark Moore officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
