Roger Cook
Roger S. Cook, 70, of Gladwin died Nov. 14, 2006 at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Gladwin after a long illness.
He was born Dec. 7, 1935 to Charles and Mary (Aston) Cook in Nester Township.
Roger was a laborer at Muma Forest Products; he had been retired since 1996. He lived in Gladwin County his whole life. He was a member of Gladwin Moose Lodge 287 and Gladwin Eagles Aerie #3292.
Roger married Donna K. Hayward on July 4, 1978.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Cook of Gladwin; three sons, Charles Cook of Gladwin, Timothy (Michele) Cook of Howard City and Theo Dowe of Tennessee; seven step-children, Arnie (Arlene) Hilts of Gladwin, Wanda (John) Burkhart of Gladwin, Sharon Oullette and friend, Guy Gensman, of Gladwin, Connie (Vernon) Minton of Gladwin, Tina Loureiro and friend, Tony, of Belfast, Massachusetts, Cindy (William) Minton of Gladwin, and Beverly (Robert) Shouse of Gladwin; and three sisters, Margaret McCann of Gladwin, Lavina London of Big Rapids, and Emma Ostrander of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Lorenzo Cook, Elmer Dickerson and Simon Dickerson; and two sisters, Fanny Good and Janet Cook.
Arrangements were made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
