Lois Cook
Lois Ann (Limbeck) Cook, 78, of Rhodes, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at Midland Tender Care Facility.
Lois was born to John and Mabel (Deller) Limbeck July 31, 1928 in Detroit. She married Grant Cook Aug. 3, 1946.
Lois was a bus driver for Pinconning School District for 25 years and enjoyed camping, living on a farm and her animals.
She was predeceased by one brother, Wayne Limbeck. She is survived by her children, seven sons Gary (Linda) Cook, Glen (Barbara) Cook, Gerald (Barbara) Cook, Greg (Cheryl) Cook, Gene (Becky) Cook, Gavin Cook, Gwayne (Billie) Cook; one daughter Gail (Mike) Austin, 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
Funeral mass is Friday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. from St. Mary’s Church, Fr. Joseph Miller Presiding with burial in St. Mary’s Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Thursday, 1-9 p.m. A Rosary will be held at 3 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. On Friday Lois will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. until service.
