Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Merle Coffell

   Merle L. Coffell, 62, of 4320 W. Eagleson Rd., Gladwin, died suddenly Saturday, July 27, at Gladwin Area Hospital following a heart attack. Born October 12, 1911, in Sherman Township, he was lifetime resident of Gladwin County, and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Coffell and the former Mary Knapp were married April 8, 1950, in Romney, W. Va. He was employed as a press-operator for Brunswick Corporation.

   Surviving are his wife, Mary; and a sister, Mrs. Adeline Kuebler of Higgins Lake. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel, with the Rev. Carl Briggs officiating. Burial was in Ridge Cemete.
