Thomas E. Coash
Thomas C. Coash, Thomas C. Coash, 72, of Beaverton,
died May 18, 2004, at home. He was born September 18,
1931, to Clinton and Mary (Connelly) Coash in Saginaw.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean
War. He worked as a supervisor at General Motors in
Saginaw. Previously of Saginaw, he lived in Gladwin
for the past 25 years. He was a member of the VFW Post
1859 in Carrollton, the National Rifle Association,
and the Michigan Sheriff Association. He was also a
Boy Scout leader for Troop 325 in Saginaw.
He is survived by three sisters, Margaret and Jim
Ford of Rockford, Mary and Les Meehleder of Rockford,
and Theresa Slagle of Midland; and several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Special thanks to the Mercer family and his extended
family and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, May 21, at 11
a.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin, with Rev. James
Hoggard officiating. Burial was at Arbutus Cemetery in Beaverton. Visitation was on Thursday, May 20, from 3-9 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands..
