Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Nora Coallier

   Nora P. Coallier, 75, went to be with her daughter in heaven Monday, Nov. 7, 2005 at the Zeeland Community Hospital in Zeeland. Mrs. Coallier had been happily retired in the Ogemaw area for the past 13 years, having previously lived in the Detroit area. Mrs. Coallier belonged to the West Branch Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW #3775 and she was a member of the West Branch Senior Inc. One of her favorite hobbies was playing cards with her family and friends.

   Surviving family members include her husband, Jacques of West Branch; a daughter, Maureen (James) Coallier-Fair of Saginaw; a son, Lawrence (Melanie) Coallier of Hudsonville; grandchildren, Ashley, Brendan, Austin, and Nolan Coallier all of Hudsonville; and a sister, Margaret (William) Roberts of Royal Oak. Preceding Nora in death are her parents, Charles and Marie McCarthy; a sister, Joan Enochs; a brother, Eugene McCarthy; and her daughter, Jeannine Coallier.

   Visitation was held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 10 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral was held Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The Rev. Dr. David Stout officiated. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association 100 Woods Circle Alpena, MI 49707.
