Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Jerry Clore

   Jerry Wesley Clore, 69, of Gladwin, Michigan died April 5, 2006 at his home in Largo, Florida following a sudden illness.

   He was born in Flint on Jan. 2, 1937 to George and Edna Jane (Heckerthorne) Clore. He married his wife, Gertrude in Saginaw on Aug. 10, 1968; she died in 1994. He was an Inspector at General Motors - Saginaw Steering Gear, from which he retired in 1990. He also worked as a Pilot for Saginaw County Sheriff Department Aviation Division, and was Executive Board Member at Large, District Committee Man, and Shop Committee Man at UAW Local 699. He was a veteran and a member of Estey Moose Lodge #456 and Gladwin Eagles. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1986, having previously resided in Saginaw.

   Surviving him are three sons, Kevin Wesley Clore of Phoenix, Arizona, Mark Steven (Kathleen) Clore of Springfield, Missouri, and Christopher Martin (Kim) Clore of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren; and special friend Gladys McKnight of Saginaw. He was predeceased by his wife; his sister, Dolores; and his parents. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin with pastor Brad Withrow officiating. Burial will follow in McClure Cemetery in Gladwin.
