Bert E. Clingan
TOBACCO TOWNSHIP MAN DIES SUDDENLY
Bert E. Clingan, 48, of Tobacco Township, died suddenly Tuesday at his home of a heart attack. Born on Jan. 18, 1913, in Buckeye Township, he spent his lifetime in Gladwin County and operated a farm in Tobacco Township. He was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving him are a daughter, Rosemary Clingan, of Santa Cruz, CA.; his mother, Mrs. Mary Clingan, of Beaverton; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Freeman, and Mrs. Marion Brown, of Beaverton; three brothers, Israel, of Goldbar, Wash., and Walter and James of Beaverton. A sister preceded him in death in 1952 and his father died on Feb. 19, 1960.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Arthur Whisler will officiate and burial will be in Dale Cemetery..
