Gordon Clark
Gordon J. Clark, 77, of Gladwin, formerly of Royal Oak and Troy, died Sunday, April 13 at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. He was born Nov. 23, 1930 in Detroit to James and Gertrude Clark.
Mr. Clark graduated from Royal Oak High School in 1949 and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Chrysler Corporation for 38 years until his retirement in 1989 as Accounting Supervisor and was an avid golfer and poker player.
Surviving are his children, Gary Clark of Troy, Terri Hare of Gladwin, and Bonnie Jankovic of Ypsilanti; brother, Wiliam Clark of St. Clair; and grandchildren Joshua, James, Andrea, Nicholaus and Emily. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, in 2003 and by his son, Gordon Bruce Clark, in 2004.
A memorial service will be held at the Riverwalk Grill, O’Dell Room, on Saturday, May 31 at 11 a.m. Arrangements were by Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home in Royal Oak.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
