Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

   CHIDSEY
  The following clipping from a Mishawaka, Ind., newspaper, received Thursday, announces the death of a former well-known and respected resident of Gladwin: "Mrs. E. L. Chidsey, a resident of Mishawaka, for seven years, who suffered a stocke of apoplexy four days ago, passed away at 6:45 o'clock Sunday evening at the family residence, 119 West Battell street, aged 67 years.
  "She was formerly Miss Jane McGuire, and was born in New York state, April 27, 1843, and was married to E. L. Chidsey, July 5, 1869, in Hartford, Conn. They came to Mishawaka seven years ago from Michigan. Surviving are the husband, two daughters, Mrs. Aldert Graber, and Mrs. Harvey William of Mishawaka, and one brother, James McGuire of Rhode Island.
  "The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house, the Rev. T. J. Giblett, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Interment in the city cemetery..
