Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Richard Chesney

   Richard J. Chesney, 58, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin.

   Richard was born on May 30, 1948 in Huron County, to James and Annabell (Fahner) Chesney He was a veteran of the United States Army and had lived in Gladwin County for the last 20 years, previously residing in Pontiac. He worked as a maintenance man and also was an Auctioneer in Gladwin.

   He is survived by his children, Richard Jr. and Lisa Chesney of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael Chesney and Debbie Corzine of Gladwin, Deborah Wilkinson of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mary and Jamie Rudabaugh of Texas; 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Brown of Keego Harbor, and Cathy and Larkin Ervin of Beaverton; a brother, John and Marlene Chesney of Clarkston; parents, James H. and Annabell Chesney of Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews.

   He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, William F. Brown Visitation is Wednesday, March 14 from 2-9 p.m. at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Funeral service is Thursday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.

   Burial is at Port Austin Township Cemetery with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m.
