Wallace Chaney
Wallace Gerald Chaney, 84, of Gladwin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007 at West Branch Regional Medical Center.
Wallace was born Aug. 13, 1923 in Lebanon, Ohio to the late Gerald and Marie (Julian) Chaney.
Wallace married Virginia Greek on May 5, 1951 in Wayne County. They moved to Gladwin in 1975 after he retired from Ford Motor Company as a machinist.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Wallace was a member of the F.O.E. Gladwin Lodge and he carried a high average in bowling, a sport he loved.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia; one son, Kenneth W. Chaney of Brighton; two daughters, Diane Chaney Maura of Westland and Nancy A. Dennison of Cadillac; four grandchildren, Matthew Dennison, Kelley Dennison, Brian Chaney and Kevin Chaney.
Visitation was Saturday and Sunday at Sisson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Gladwin.
