Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Nancy Carper

   Nancy Carper, 76, of Gladwin passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006 at the Gladwin Living and Rehabilitation Center.

   She was born Sept. 6, 1930 in West Virginia to Luther and Perry Estep Crawford. Nancy married William Carper on July 22, 1957 and he died Aug. 1, 2002.

   She was a member of the Gladwin Assembly of God Church. Nancy was famous for her beans and cornbread.

   Surviving are several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Alma Litterel and Clorenia Green Hodges both of West Virginia. Two brothers, Gaylan Crawford and Clarence Crawford, and one sister, Vadea Thompson, predeceased Nancy.

   Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at the Gladwin Assembly of God Church. Rev. Brad Withrow will officiate with burial in Arbutus Cemetery. Friends may call at Sisson Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday.
