Deceased Name: BONNIE CARDWELL

   Elizabeth "Bonnie" Laycock Cardwell, 90, passed away at home in James City County, Va., on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2001, with her family by her side. Born in Gladwin, Mich., she and Paul, her husband of 62 years, previously l ived in Tulsa, Okla., Midland, Mich., and Zanoni, Va. She was a warm, compassionate, gracious lady and a loving mother.

   Bonnie is survived by her husband and their children, Mary Johnson and her husband, Carl, of Detroit, Mich., Richard and his wife, Dianna, of Leonardo, N.J., David of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Susan Farley and her husband, F red, of Toano,Va. She had three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

   The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2 7, at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va. A memorial service will be at a later date in Thornville, Mich.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the James City County Volunteer Rescue Squad, 3125 Forge Road, Toano, VA 23168 or the First Presbyterian Church, Gloucester, VA 23061.
