Robert Card Sr.
Robert W. Card Sr., 63, of Gladwin died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at his home in Gladwin after a short illness.
He was born Feb. 27, 1944 to Gerald and Twyla (Ballard) Card in Gladwin.
Robert was a welder with Boilermaker Local 169 in Dearborn. He retired in 2002 after 36 years.
A veteran of the United States Army, Robert lived in Gladwin County his whole life.
On Oct. 4, 1967, he married Linda Dengel in Beaverton Surviving are his wife, Linda Card of Gladwin; two sons, Robert Card Jr. of Alaska, and Terry Card of Gladwin; one daughter, Tammy Card and Brian Smith of Gladwin; two grandchildren, Adonis Card and Brendan Coslow; two brothers, Kenneth (Polly) Card of Midland, and Leroy (Vivian) Card of Crosville, Tennessee; one sister, Darlene (Richard) Glowacki of Bridgeport; one brother-inlaw, Robert (Sharon) Dengel; one sister-in-law, Carol (Richard) Govitz; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Funeral services were Monday, July 9, 2007 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastor Brad Withrow officiating.
