Robert Campbell
Robert N. Campbell Dies May 25th In Grout
Robert N. Campbell, old time resident of Grout township, died at the home of
his son Roy, Thursday, May 25. Mr. Campbell was born in Houghton Town, Ontario, on April 3, 1861.
In 1886 he was married to Isabell Will and to them were born three children. Forthy seven years ago
he moved to Grout township, and in 1914 moved to Gladwin City, where he lived until eight years ago
when he moved back to Grout township to live with his son, because of ill health.
Surviving him ar two sons, Frank of Quincy and Roy of Grout and one daughter, MRs.
Keith Councell of Grout, twenty grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were
held at the Rogers Funeral Home, Saturday afternoon with Rev. H.R. Fiddler officiating. Burial was
in Grout cemetery.
