Kenneth Campbell Sr.
Kenneth R. Campbell Sr., 69, of 515 W. M-61, Gladwin, died Tuesday, April
12, 1994, at his home after a short illness. He was born in Norgate, Manitoba, Can., Sept.
7, 1924, and came to Gladwin County 40 years ago. He worked for A&P for 17 years with the
last 8 years as manager of the Gladwin store. Mr. Campbell then worked for Dow Corning for 21
years and retired in 1988. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the
Gladwin F.O.E. 3292, Gladwin V.F.W. Post 11256, the Gladwin Masonic Lodge and was adjunct of
the DAV. Mr. Campbell and the former Juanita Clore were married June 24, 1946, in Ohio.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Kenneth Jr. of Gladwin; a daughter, Sally Campbell
of Gladwin; 2 brothers, Thomas of Clio and Earl of Mt. Morris and Mary Ann Ruby of S. Charleston,
Ohio; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev.
Deane Wyllys will officiate and burial will be in the McClure Cemetery. The V.F.W. will handle
graveside services. Masonic and Eagle memorial services will be held Thursday evening. Visitation
is after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Gladwin Area.
