LOSES LIFE IN GERMANY
DONALD J. CAMERON T/5G
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cameron have received word that their son, Donald J. Cameron T/5G, was
killed in Germany on April 16th. Donald was born in Gladwin September 27, 1923 and entered
service February 27, 1943. He received his training at Miami, Fla., and Omaha, Neb., going
overseas in September of 1943. He spent 15 months with the air corps and was later transferred
to the infantry in January, 1945.
Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Francis in France, and James; six sisters,
Rosalie of Bay City; Dorothy, Florence, Rita, Alice and Barbara at home.
