Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Judith Byam

   Judith Jennette Byam, 68, of Gladwin passed away at her home Nov. 19, 2007 following a short illness.

   She was born in Lansing on July 15, 1939 to TW and Harriet (Bullen) Eames.

   She was a homemaker and had lived in Gladwin County since June 27, 1997, previously residing in Lansing. Judith married Lawrence Byam on July 6, 1961 in El Paso, Texas.

   She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Byam of Gladwin; one daughter, Virginia Kay Byam of Gladwin; her mother, Harriet Worthington of Gladwin; one grandson, Derrick Lirsey of Gladwin; one brother, Fredrick Eames of Werer, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas W. Eames of Lansing and Stanley Richard Eames of Spruce Pines, North Carolina. Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2007 at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. She will be laid to rest in Butman Township Cemetery.

   Visitation is Friday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
