John Bushong
Services Friday for John Bushong
John Lindsay Bushong, 54, passed away at his home in Grout township Tuesday afternoon,
April 27. He had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services will be held on Friday
afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Gladwin Methodist church, with the Rev. John Scott officiating.
Burial will be in Highland cemetery, under the auspices of the Gladwin Chapter Veterans of
Foreign Wars.
Mr. Bushong, a resident of Gladwin county for the past 33 years, was born in Putman county,
Ohio on January 23, 1894. On November 8, 1924 he married Miss Beulah Switzer, in Beaverton.
Surviving besided his wife, Beulah, are four daughters, Mrs. James Sanford of Saginaw, Mrs.
Winnifred MAXWELL of Freeland and Iris Dawn and Viola Jane, at home; one brother, Charles E.
Bushong, of Pontiac; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Richard of Detroit and Mrs. Nellie Druley of Winegars.
