Chester Bushong
Chester L. Bushong, 27, of Midland, died Sunday, June 6, at St. Mary's
Hospital in Saginaw. Born in Gladwin on January 15, 1949, he worked in Midland as a carpenter
the past year, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion
Berryhill Post 165 of Midland, and of the Eagles Club of All-Bright Shores.
He graduated from Gladwin High School in 1967, and was married to the former Sherry Dapprich
in Sanford on March 1, 1969. Surviving are his wife, Sherry; three children, Brian, Michelle and
Kevin, all at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grover Bushong of Gladwin; two brothers, Robert of Butte,
Montana and Tom of Midland; and three sisters, Mrs. Ken (Betty) Clark, Mrs. Jack (Mary Ellen)
Sherlock and Debra Bushong, all of Gladwin.
Services are to be held today, Wednesday, at the Mathew's Funeral Home in Gladwin at 2 p.m. with
the Rev. Carl Lindberg officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
