Earl Burr
Earl Burr, 64, died suddenly at his Beaverton City home Saturday, May 24,
at 7:10 a.m. Born i Rosebush, March 15, 1911, he had lived in Gladwin County most of his
lifetime. He and the former Grace Kintner were married September 17, 1937, in Saginaw. Mr.
Burr was a retired Dow Chemical Co., employee and a member of the Beaverton United Methodist
Church.
Surviving are his wife, Grace; a son, Thomas of Middleton, Mich.; a daughter,
Mrs. Don (Anna) Courneya of Beaverton; is mother, Mrs. Allie Burr of Beaverton; a brother, Ben
of Beaverton; 2 sisters, Mrs. William (Berniece) Mercer and Mrs. Clare (Margaret) Yager, both
of Beaverton; and 2 grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Beaverton United Methodist Church
with the Rev. Zina Bennett officiating. Burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery.
