Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Jerome Burley

   Jerome Burley was found dead sitting in his chair Monday at 5 p.m. at the home of Edgar Edick where he has made his home for several years. Deceased was an old soldier, unmarried, and was thought to be about 77 years old. He was a pioneer resident of Gladwin township, and had been blind and nearly helpless a long time. The remains were brought to Hanna and Bradley's undertaking rooms Tuesday afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church today at 2 p.m. in charge of the G.A.R. post with sermon by Rev. H. J. Nicholls. Remains were interred in the soldiers' plot in Highland cemetery.
