Anne Burke
Anne M. Burke, 80, of Beaverton died Nov. 8, 2006 at the Brian House in Bay City after a short illness.
She was born Feb. 19, 1926 to James and Mary (Cochran) Jackson of Flint.
She was a homemaker and lived in Gladwin County since 1975. She spent her retirement years enjoying golfing, boating and snowmobiling. She previously resided in Flint.
Anne married was married to Francis Burke for 52 years. They were married on March 3, 1951.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin (Jessica) Burke of Florida, and Donald (Yolanda) Burke of Midland; two daughters, Nancy (John) Broderick of Menlo Park, California, and Linda (Paul) Jeska of Beaverton; four grandchildren, Anne Broderick and Matthew Broderick of Menlo Park, California, and Amy Jeska and Kelly Jeska of Beaverton; three step-grandchildren, Whitney and John Cable of Midland, Jacinta Medina of Midland, and Sabrina Alaniz of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one sister, May (Jerry) Prior of New Hampshire; one brother, John (Janet) Jackson of Brighton; three sisters- in-law, Judy Jackson, Margaret Rough and Mary Burke, all of Flint; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis, in 2003; her parents; a brother, Jim Jackson; and nephew, Douglas Jackson.
Cremation has taken place by the wishes of the family. Arrangements were made by Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin.
