James Bunker
James M. Bunker, 67, of Gladwin, died Jan. 29, 2006 at home following a long illness. He was born May 22, 1938 in Port Huron to Bernard and Edna (Schmude) Bunker. He lived in Gladwin County since 1983, having previously resided in Flint. He worked maintenance at General Motors Truck and Bus Plant in Flint, retiring in 2000. He served in the Army. Surviving are his daughter, Gail (Patrick) McGraw of Gladwin; his son, John (Joy) Bunker of New York; seven grandchildren and two Greatgrandchildren; his sister, Bonnie (Carl) Rathka of West Branch; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents.
Services will be held Friday, Feb. 17 at 12:30 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Beaverton with Pastor Paul Metzger officiating.
