Ira Bud
IRA BUDD
Ira F. Budd, 54, of 4967 W. Beaverton Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, Aug. 4, in the Saginaw Veterans Hospital after a long illness. Born in Harrison March 16, 1932, he had spent most of his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Budd was a truck driver and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Clare VFW Post 5738. Mr. Budd and the former Ona Pardee were married March 16, 1954 in Lake City.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 5 sons, Ira Jr., John and Kevin of Beaverton, Steven of Coleman and Kim of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Charles of Grayling; and 7 grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Arthur Munger will officiate and burial will be in the Beaverton Cemetery. A military graveside service will be held by the Clare VFW Post. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Wednesday. .
