Mary Buck
Mary Jane Buck, 78, of Gladwin, passed away suddenly Monday evening, Nov. 28, at the MidMichigan Medical Center- Gladwin.
Mary Jane was born March 16, 1927 in Iowa to Herbert and Vere Coddington. She married Charles W. Buck on Nov. 23, 1950 in Moline, Illinois. Mary Jane retired as a professional choir director. She was active with the Pontiac Tuesday Musical’s, the Oxford Michigan Music Club. She also directed the choir at Our Svaior Lutheran Church for nine years and the choir at the Beaverton First Presbyterian Church for several years, where she was a member. Her life was music.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; two sons, Andrew (Shelia) Buck of Kentwood and Steven (Sharon) Buck of Covington, Georgia; one daughter, Catherine Ann (Leonard) Trudeau of Port Huron; and three grandchildren. Two brothers predecease her.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the First Presbyterian Church in Beaverton.
