Jennie Brunni
Jennie Geneva Brunni, 58, of Gladwin, died Saturday, April 17, in the Gladwin
Area Hospital following a long illness. Born in Gladwin County on Septmeber 25, 1923, she worked
on the assembly line at Continental Motor Co in Muskegon until retiring in 1973. She was a veteran
of World War II. Miss Brunni was a member of the American Legion 531 in Copemish and U.A.W. Local
113 in Muskegon.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Jennie Keyser of Gladwin; her father, Elmer Brunni of Barryton;
3 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Brokoff and Mrs. Maxine Roberson of Gladwin and Mrs. Phyllis Sweebe of Kent,
Wash.; and one brother, Richard Brunni of Grand Rapids. A brother, Leo Brunni, preceded her in
death in 1969. Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The
Rev. Marilyn Dressel officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemete.
