Robert Bruner
Robert D. Bruner, 55, of 6335 Park Lane Rd., Bath, died Sunday, May 13, at
his home. Born in Sage Township on November 24, 1923, he attended the Gladwin schools. He
was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Mr. Bruner was a farm laborer and lived
in the Williamston area since October 1978.
Surviving are his wife, Jennie; 2 daughters, Joan of Cedar Springs and Roberta of Battle
Creek; 3 brothers, George of Bath, Elmer of Mason and Lawrence of Williamston; 5 sisters, Mrs.
Elpha Murray, Mrs. Frances Day, Mrs. Nancy Mills, all of Gladwin, Mrs. Joyce Day of Midland
and Mrs. Florence Ridley of Williamston. He was preceded in death by one sister, Vera Grove,
in January 1974.
Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 1 P.M. from the Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Helena
Egts officiated and burial was in the Ridge Cemetery.
