Daniel Bruner
Daniel L. Bruner, 80, of Gladwin died Monday, March 3, 2008 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Gladwin. He was born Dec. 7, 1927 in Clio the son of Albert and Edith (Easlick) Bruner.
He resided at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County.
Daniel married Mabel L. Whitman April 11, 1947 in Beaverton; she died April 11, 2001. He worked a wide variety of jobs. He retired from driving truck for Chuck Bennett. He also worked as a volunteer fireman for Gladwin and for the city of Gladwin, as well as for Wolverine Camper Company (now Myers for Tires) and as a foreman for the American Salt Company in Midland. He loved to hunt, fish and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Clare.
Daniel is survived by one son, Neil Bruner Sr. of Gladwin; three daughters, Bonnie (Dwain) Grant and Louise (Dave) Stachowiak, both of Beaverton, and Mary (Kip) Price of Harrison; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; one brother, Delbert (Opal) Bruner; and one sister, Marian (Harley) Bourlier, both of Gladwin. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, David; and two sisters, Marie Long and Maude Dickinson.
