Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Harold C. Brubaker

   Harold C. Brubaker, 65, of Beaverton, died Monday, Dec. 4, 2000 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland following a short illness. Born May 5, 1935 in Gladwin, he was th son of Curtis and Margaret (Gross) Brubaker. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County. Harold married Elaine Wilson, July 13, 1957 in Homestead, Fla. He was a pipe fitter for the Dow Chemical Company; Midland, retiring i 1987 after 30 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin, and a founding member of Wolverine Hunting Club, Gladwin.

   Besides his wife he is survived by six daughters, Colleen Overfield of Beaverton, Linda Brubaker of Blue Ash, Ohio, Brenda and husband Dave Hager, Tammy and husband Tom Shaw, and Kim and husband Gordy Mose, all of Gladwin, and Kelly and husband Chris Carey of Shepard; six sisters, Annalee Shea, Richard and Dorothy Rellinger, all of Gladwin, Lucille Lyons and Glenna Hitchcock, both of Beaverton, and Donna Murphy of Midland; two brothers, Paul Brubaker of Gladwin and R. C. Brubaker of Beaverton; eight grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, special friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents.

   Services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday), at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gladwin with Rev. Father Patrick Jankowiak officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Gladwin. A Christian wake service was held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be mad to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin was in charge of the arrangements.
