Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Eva Brubaker

   Eva A. Brubaker, 79, of 5193 S. M-18, Beavertn, died Thursday, April 16, in the St. Luke's Hospital, Saginaw, after a short illness. Born in Van Wert, Ohio, Jan. 3, 1906, she came to Gladwin County when she was 12. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society. The former Eva Myers, she was married to Lawrence Brubaker Aug. 14, 1926, in Gladwin.

   Besides her husband, she is survived by 7 sons, Lloyd of Inkster, Bud and Delano of Midland and Charles, Steve, Tony and Dennis of Beaverton; 6 daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Pat) Milks of Saginaw, Mrs. Pat (Sarah) Cabala of Freeland, Mrs. Don (Betty) Shea of Gladwin, Mrs. Doug (Leah) Martindale of Delton, Mrs. Durand (Elva) Gardner of Harrison and Mrs. Dirk (Grace) McKimmy of Beaverton; one sister, Mrs. Joseph Smith of St. Louis; 57 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. A son, Floyd, died as an infant.

   Services were held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Father Donald Christensen officiated and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
