Marie Brown
Marie Brown, 90, of Gladwin passed away Jan. 30, 2008 at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines following a short illness.
She was born in Hope on Aug. 12, 1917 to John and Edna (Grice) Levely. Marie married Gaylord Brown Sept. 14, 1935 in Saginaw. She was a homemaker and had lived in Gladwin County since 1935.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy (Steve) Leuenberger of Beaverton and Judy (Mark Unger) Trombley of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Brenda and Scott Pfister, Jeffrey and Jennifer Brushaber, Michael and Connie Trombley, and Steven and Shana Trombley; eight great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Wanda Briscoe and Carletta Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years in 2002; four brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 4 at Hall- Kokotovich Funeral Home in Beaverton with Sandra Schwartz officiating. She was laid to rest in Highland Cemetery in Gladwin.
