Jesse Brown
Jesse Brown died at the residence of his son-in-law, James N. Bendle, in Sage township, Feb. 12, 1894, aged 83 years, 2 months and 4 days. Mr. Brown was born in the state of New York, and removed to Ohio in the year 1814. He was joined in marriage with Margaret Parsons in 1835, in Athens county', O, and they removed to Michigan in 1878. His wife died in this county in 1880. Twelve children were born as a result of the union, seven of whom are living, Riley, a son, and Mrs. J. N. Bendle, a daughter, residing in this county.
