Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice
 
Floyd Brown Sr.

   Floyd Andrew Brown Sr., 55, of Portland, Michigan passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2007 He was born on Oct. 4, 1951 in Grand Ledge, Michigan to Thomas and Esther (Loper) Brown.

   Floyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, fixing cars and always staying busy except for his daily bubble baths. He was a tool and die maker for 30 years, more recently at Dura Corp. in Gladwin. Floyd loved his children and grandchildren and was a good friend to all.

   He is survived by his father, Thomas Owen Brown of Curtis; one daughter, Tina (Matt) Robertson of Lyons; one son, Floyd “Andrew” (Sue) Brown of Lyons; four grandchildren, Marc, Zach, Wynter and Anna; stepchildren, Mike and Amy Abbott; two sisters, Mary Ogeo and Donna Lilly; one brother, Thomas Brown Jr.; his dog and faithful companion, Dixie; and his former wives, Judy Lilly and Patti Wright.

   He is preceded in death by his mother, Esther; one brother, Amos; and one sister, Bea The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, May 11.

   Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2007 at the Schrauben- Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E Bridge St., Portland.
