Paul J. Brenner
Paul J. Brenner, 59, of Gladwin, died suddenly September 26, while in a
business place south of Gladwin. Born in Fairgrove, July 18, 1914, he was the son of Joseph
and Marie Brenner. Mr. Brenner was a 26-year veteran of the United States Army and saw service
in World War II, Korea an Vietnam. He was never married. He was a resident of Gladwin county
1914-25, 1926-34, 1937-38 and 1970-73.
Surviving are a brother George of Ortonville; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jean of Yucapia, Calif.;
a niece Mrs. Irene Tretow of Franklin, Wisc.; and 2 nephews, Carl Sandula of Fraser and Gordon
Lille of Roseville. Services were held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Fr. Edward
Trombley officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemete.
