Murnie Breault
Murnie Breault, 85, of Gladwin Township, died Tuesday; January 11, at the
Midland Hospital, following a short illness. Mr. Breault had been a resident of Gladwin County
for 82 years. He was born October 1, 1886, in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, and came here with his
parents in 1889. He was a farmer in Gladwin Township until his retirement. Mr. Breault and the
former Miss Mabel Hodges were married in Saginaw in 1923 and she preceded him in death in April
1963.
Survivors are five sons, Max of Gladwin, Murnie Laverne of Massachusetts, Elroy of McGuire, AFB
N.J., Don of Freeland, and Neil of Clio; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Janice) Cartmill of Midland; a
brother, John of Gladwin; and a sister, Mrs. Nellie Kern of Gladwin; and 12 grandchildren. One son
is deceased. Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with
Elder Stanley Sampson officiating and burial will be in McClure Cemetery in Gladwin Township. The
family requests that contributions be made to the Gladwin County Library.
