Fred Bray

FRED BRAY

  Fred C. Bray, 75, 1198 Badger Rd., Beaverton, died Saturday, March 6, in the Gladwin Area Hospital following a long illness. Born in Morehouse, Mo., on April 19, 1906, he came to Gladwin County in 1971. Mr. Bray retired in 1971 as service manager for a car dealership in Pontiac. He was a member of the Waterford Fraternal Order of Eagles 2887 and the Pontiac Moose Lodge 108. Mr. Bray and the former Anna Mae Strong were married March 22, 1966, in Waterford.

  Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Loren (Joan) Goodwin of Salem, Ore.; 4 step-children, Boyd Thomason of Greenville, Tenn., Robert Thomason of Kissimmee, Fla., Charles Thomason of Pontiac and Mrs. James (Mary) Hull of Clarkston; one brother, Hartley Bray of Hale; one sister, Mrs. Madge Leinenger of Beaverton; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

  Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Bates officiated and burial was in the Billings Township Cemetery. .
