Alea W. Bradley
Mrs. James E. Bradley died Friday March 10, at her home in the third ward of septicimia after an illness of about a year. Alea W. Rassett was born in Loomis May 29, 1881, and was united in marriage to James E. Bradley of this city May 25. 1900. Two children and Helen E. aged 4. Beside the husband and children the following relatives remain to mourn her loss: the mother, MrS. Mary Rassett of Farwell, four sisters, Mrs. Jasper Lewis of Loomis, Mrs. S. Lake of Clare, Mrs.George Williams and Mrs.Karl Ashbacker of Ludington, and two brothers. Frank of Chicago and James of Farwell.
The funeral was held at the family residence on Larkin street Monday, March 13, at 2 o'clock, Rev Eugene Yager officiating. A quartet consisting of Mrs. N. C. McKay, Rea Arbury, A. S. Arbury and Henry Heisman furnished the music and the following relatives acted as pallbearers: A. H. and Nelson Bradley, Frank Rassett, George Lewis, William Williams and S. Lake. The floral offerings were many and beautiful and testified to the high esteem in which Mrs. Bradley was held. (Midland Sun, March 17.)
