Harley Boyer
Harley J. Boyer, 70, of Kawkawlin, passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at Bay Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Oil City on Dec. 7, 1936 to the late Allen (Sy) and Jo (Warner) Boyer. Harley married the former Shirley Warden on June 23, 1956. She survives him.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Bay City and Florida, enjoyed fishing and wine making.
In addition to his wife of 51 years, he is survived by four sons, Gerald (Kim) Boyer, William (Robin) Boyer, Robert (Tammy) Boyer and Thomas Boyer; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Richard (Barb) Boyer, David (MaryLou) Boyer and Robert Boyer; and one sister, Beverly (Gordon) Binns. He was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Williams.
Funeral services were held Aug. 11, 2007 at Rivertown Funeral Chapel in Kawkawlin, with Gordon Binns presiding with burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
