Walter E. Boyd
Walter E. Boyd, 65, of 41 Sugar River Rd., Gladwin, died Friday, November 15,
at Gladwin Area Hospital, following an illness of 6 months. He was born October 27, 1909, in
Indiana, and had been a resident of Gladwin County for the past 15 years. He was a retired Pontiac
Motor Car employee and a veteran of World War II. Mrs. Boyd, the former Thresia Hatch, and he were
married in Ohio April 15, 1949, and she died Feb. 20, 1973.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gillian Ferguson of Pontiac; and 2 brothers. Services were held
Monday, at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home; Gladwin Chapel, with the Rev. Helena Egts officiating and
burial was in McClure Cemete.
