Benjamin I. Bosworth
BENJAMIN I. BOSWORTH
Benj. I. Bosworth, 209 North Hill street, Mishawa,
Indiana, died at his home Thursday morning, July 29,
at 9:15 o'clock, following an illness of 18 months of
heart trouble. Mr. Bosworth went to Mishawa 18 years
ago from Gladwin, Michigan, and up to the time of his
sickness was employed by the Mishawa Woolen Mfg. Co.
He was a Civil war veteran, having served during the
entire was as a private in Co. D, Sixth regiment, and
Co. H, First regiment, of the Michigan Volunteer
Cavalry. He is survived by his second wife, Olive, one
son, Clarence, and two daughters, Mrs. George Evans,
of South Bend, Ind., and Mrs. Neal Shoemaker of
Mishawaka, Ind., one step-son, Frank Thomas, and one
grandson, Robert Mattingly. Funeral services were held
at the house, Rev. G. W. Titus officiating. G.A.R.
Houghton Post No. 128 attended in a body and had
charge of the services at the grave. Burial in the
Mishawaka City cemetery.
