Rose Boots
Rose Mary Boots, 79, of Midland passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at Tendercare in Midland.
She was born June 12, 1928 in Jerome Township, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Milledge) Weber.
She attended schools in Defiance, Ohio and married George Boots Nov. 14, 1946 in St. Louis. Rose was an avid reader and had a love of flowers and traveling.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Paula) Boots of Midland, and George F. (Theresa) Boots of Wickliffe, Ohio; daughter, Mary Spindler of Midland; grandchildren, Michael (Tiffany) Boots, Michelle (fiancé Andy Wilkins) Spindler, April (John) Vert, George (Denise) Boots, Gerald (Brenda) Boots, Molly (Jason) Lawson; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband on Oct. 22, 1998; a granddaughter, Michele L. Boots in 1990; and a brother, James Weber.
Funeral services for Rose were held Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Neil Wiggins officiating. Interment was held in New Hope Cemetery.
