G. Tom Boettcher
G. Tom Boettcher, 69, of Hope, died June 18, 2006 at MidMichigan Medical Center- Midland after a long illness. He was born Aug. 3, 1936 to Elmer and Helen (Hart) Boettcher in Bridgeport. He was a tool and die maker at AC Sparkplug Division in Flint. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He had lived in Midland County since 1983, previously residing in Saginaw. He was a member of Gladwin Masonic Lodge, Estey Moose Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Albright Shores Eagles Club #3655. Surviving are one son, Thomas Joseph Boettcher of Hope; one brother, Harry G. Boettcher of Denver, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; five brothers, Robert, Wallace, Jerry, Richard and Eugene; and three sisters, Ruth Bouliou, Norma Burke and Helen Daurick.
Funeral services will be June 22 at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton. Pastor Jim Pauquette will officiate. Visitation is June 21 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
