Edwin Berg
Edwin L. Berg, 77, of 406 2nd St., Gladwin, died Friday, April 29, 1994, at
St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. He was born in Gladwin on March 24, 1916. He was a machine
operator for General Motors and a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was also a
member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Gladwin. Mr. Berg and the former Rose Schultz were
married June 22, 1940, in Gladwin.
Surviving are one son, Thomas and wife, Sandra, of Gladwin; 2 sisters, Mrs. Elsie Jones of
St. Clair Shores and Mrs. Edna Foor of Gladwin; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as
well as many nieces and nephews. Rites were held Monday at 11 a.m. from Our Savior Lutheran
Church. The Rev. Donald Dengler officiated and burial was in the Highland Cemete.
