Gladwin County Obituary/Death Notice

Leo Benmark
Leo Benmark, son of J. A. Benmark of Roscommon county, met with a serious accident Saturday afternoon, from the effects of which he died that evening at 11 o'clock. While going to the field with .his brothers with wagon and team he fell from the wagon underneath the wheels so that they ran over his stomach, crushing it internally. Leo was born Nov. 29, 1911, in Roscommon county and died Sept 22, 1923. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Ray and Howard, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.! He was a loving and cheerful child whose loss is deeply mourned and his startling and accidental death it was a great shock to the community. Funeral services were held at the Butman schoolhouse Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock conducted by Elder Burt.
